Re: Blackberry support?

So Dashwire is still available only for Windows Mobile 5 and 6 phones. We've moved our focus from our own Dashwire service to building sync solutions for other companies.

Our newest solution, mIQ, is current available for BlackBerry, as well as Windows Mobile 6 and Symbian S60 3rd and 5th Edition phones.

mIQ offers the same great services as Dashwire, plus a few more features, including the ability to sync your calendar and export media to your computer. Plus it's still free!

You can sign up for this service at http://miqlive.com/

Re: Sorry, there was a problem uploading to Facebook

This is a known bug that we need to tackle.  Fortunately, most of the uploads actually work, it's just that the error message flashes anyways.  If it doesn't, then you might want to try logging in with a different web browser (which sometimes works)

We're on it though.  Sorry about this

Re: Deleting text from cell phone, but not from dashwire site, is it possible?

Yes.  If you delete on your phone, it will not delete on the web

Re: Facebook Error: Sorry, there was a problem uploading to Facebook.

This is a known bug that we need to tackle.  Fortunately, media items and status still seems to make it to Facebook, it's just that the error flashes up anyways.  If nothing is working, then often times trying with a different web browser will do the trick

We need to take care of this though

Uninstalling Dashwire Mobile will do the trick.  You can reinstall by visiting http://m.dashwire.com

Re: Mobile client doesnt find any picture

Dashwire will upload photos and videos from your phone and SD card if located in My Pictures, My Videos, and DCIM

Agree with the need for German language support, though this only appears to be an issue on the X1

Re: Missing text from the Dashwire settings screen

Strange that the text is getting distorted, as I'm using a Blackjack II as well.  You should be seeing

Automatic or Manual Sync drop-dow

Sync when roaming check box (where we default to not syncing with roaming

Choose information to sync link (where you can select the items you want to sync to the clou

Re: Text snot syncing with 800W

Unfortunately, this is because Palm uses a proprietary SMS solution on their phones, meaning that text messages are moved outside of the standard WinMo folders that Dashwire Mobile interacts with, and into a location that we don't search through

Wish I had a better response, but we just don't do SMS on the Treo series

Re: Syncing Photos

Dashwire will upload photos and videos stored in your phone or SD card if located in My Pictures, My Videos, or DCIM.  Once in the cloud, you can access them from your Dashwire Mobile client, if set to automatic sync

You are correct though.  We do not offer true 2-way media file sync, meaning that if you deleted on the web, it won't delete the full file on the phone, and vice versa.  We're looking to enhance memory management functionality, but have actually heard from most of our users that they like the fact that they can store on the web but still clear up memory on the phone
