Android - Awesome Drop Issue

I've been trying to use Awesome Drop with my android (evo) for the past couple of days with no luck.  After plugging the 4 digit # into the android app, I've tried dragging different file types (.txt, .zip, .bmp, etc) onto the green box, but it just opens the .txt and .bmp files in the browser, and downloads the .zip file to my local pc.  I'm using Firefox 3.5.6 and IE 7, and have only tried at work where I can't really try different versions to see if a later version of either browser would work.  I have not had a chance to try from home where I can freely upgrade my browser if needed.

Any ideas?  I realize this is a lab app and it's free, just hoping that I can get it working.
