trying to change my status from the mobile client, but it never becomes "editable"
tried menu//change status
tried using d-pad to highlight then select the field
tried single/double-tapping the field... no avail
also I can see half of an 'e' character as if the status panel is overlaying something... attaching a screencap

('Embed pictures') doesn't seem to work via upload... trying URL-based... looks like that works
You don't have a connection to the Internet so it won't let you update. Not messaged to the user at all, that's no good.
Ideally your status line should say "Connected and in sync". It does look like you have signal. Does it ever work for you?
yes it definitely works for me... it just wasn't for a few minutes i guess... I was sitting at my work comp connected via activesync... & maybe the USB connection went screwy... i have to disconnect and reconnect it sometimes...
but still, that 'e' on the right and behind the "status panel".... what gives there?
